1. Naked Cakes.
I saw this style of cake for the first time at the PE Bridal fair last year, ever since then its been popping up everywhere... I cant help but be in love with this rustic look. This is definitely for someone who has a liking for simplistic things with a wow factor. Less definitely says more with this trend and it can be used for any event as it is easy to glam up or keep it basic by simply popping a couple of flowers on.
2. Medium hairstyles.
The first picture on the slideshow was actually my inspiration when I decided to make gone with the extensions and cut my hair into a long bob. This year even the celebs decided to go shorter with the hair and I now understand why. At first I thought I would miss my hair that took forever to grow (not to even mention the countless sleepless nights before the big "cut" , but along with the new look and style came healthy glowing hair. Most of the time I do an air dry and just flat iron here and there for a natural look (as in my inspiration photo) , so I save my hair all the pain and drama and my GHD finally have a bit of a rest. You can wear this hairstyle sleek and straight, wavy and curly and i must say that its much easier to pull of the messy throw over fringe with my crazy curly head in this length.
3. Light Blue and Grey.
I know what you are thinking and no... this is not because of fifty shades that I now like they grey ;) Using greys and light blues like this in your home does not only pop some colour but its got a calming light effect. I recently changed my lounge to a light blue by just using blue throw pillows, I changed the lamp shade to light blue and then a pop of blue decor here and there like a little flower pot. When combining it with grey it is really lovely and I now basically have to stop myself else my whole house would be grey and blue.
4. Pallet furniture.
Pallet furniture is new and trending and its one of the most pinned items on pintrest at the moment. Surely you can understand why. Its cheaper, its rustic, its creative and oh boy you have so much to do with it. I just love my pallet furniture on my patio! Comfy and inviting and pillows everywhere... easy to move and re-arrange,,, countless things to do with it...its like legos for grownups !
5. White nails.
I absolutely adore the white nails, because I am not a big nail art fan it is nice every now and again to have my nails white with one nail in a glitter or even pastel colour. Obviously it will match anything you wear and I found that I don't get as tired of it as I do with a colour. It definitely brings attention to your hands and makes a statement.
